Allergic reaction or a severe case of partying too hard? After Miley Cyrus canceled TWO shows on her Bangerz tour this week due to a "severe allergic reaction", fans are wondering that very thing.
A rep for Cyrus told People magazine, "Miley was suffering from a sinus infection during her tour in a week ago," After being prescribed the antibiotic , she "suffered an extreme allergic reaction."
All of this comes on the heels of the death of Cyrus beloved dog Floyd, whom Cyrus mourned on Twitter and in an emotional performance during a concert sound check. Many have speculated that the "allergic reaction" was actually the result of too much partying in order to drown her sorrows.
Her rep, however, vehemently denies this, saying "This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases. She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor’s care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time."
Wednesday morning, Cyrus posted to Twitter, "humans can b so selfish. If any1 thinks id rather b laying n a hospital bed than doing what I love on stage theyre…LAME. Im miserable," in response to Tweets questioning the validity of her illness. She followed that up with a tweet on Thursday that said,"can't quit crying i wanna go back on tour. im meant to be onstage performing for y'all.... not laying in a hospital bed."
Homegirl definitely has some stuff going on!
