roseanne barr

Comedian Roseanne Barr hit Twitter on Friday with accusations that 'Two and a Half Men' creator Chuck Lorre and actor Ashton Kutcher stole her joke. The tirade lasted for two days.

During Thursday's episode of 'Men,' Kutcher's character Walden speculated about what it would be like to be old, “I’d imagine that you’re wet in the places you used to be dry, and dry in the places you used to be wet.”

Barr wrote that joke in 2006 as part of her standup routine about menopause, “I’m wet where I’m supposed to be dry and dry where I’m supposed to be wet.”

Among her poison tweets aimed at Lorre and Kutcher, "Friends told me that Ashton Kuchner is stealing my jokes without any sense of being conscious of being a f**king thief. #chucklorre."

Barr added, "A**hole Kuchner is stealing my "wet where i'm supposed to be dry" joke @JohnnyArgent motherf**king thief."

"Chuck Lorre has made MILLIONS-hundreds of millions-YET-he STEALS COMEDIAN'S WRITING-helps himself 2 STEAL other ppl's work w no guilt.  He will do anything2 make a $-lie, steal, cheat, rip off comics ideas, re use already overused premises2 entertain moronic droolers."

Her final thoughts, "I forgive Ashton and Chuck! It's prob one of their writer's fault.  Send me some jokes from Chuck Lorre's shows so I can steal if funny.  One thing Chuck Lorre will never do: apologize for lifting material from me or other comics or other TV shows."

We haven't seen this much rage aimed at 'Men' and Chuck Lorre since Charlie Sheen's 2011 meltdown after he got fired.

two and a half men

The popular CBS sitcom 'Two and a Half Men' will switch things up during season 11 with the addition of a new character.  The show plans to add an actress who will portray the daughter of deceased character Charlie Harper.

A change in the dynamic of the show was inevitable with the departure of Angus T. Jones, who played Dr. Alan Harper's son Jake for ten seasons.

The teen left the sitcom in order to concentrate on a career in music.  He arrived at this decision after encouraging 'Men' viewers, via a YouTube video rant, to quit watching the "filth."

Deadspin claims the series will add a female in her late teens or early 20's to replace Angus. The new character will land on Walden's door step and before long she will be invited to join the ranks of his other permanent boarder, her newly-discovered Uncle Alan.

Ashton Kutcher got top billing and a hefty salary when he stepped in to replace Charlie Sheen, but Jon Cryer is the one who was awarded the 2012 Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

Will Jake's departure make you less likely to watch the show?  Is a name change in order?

Angus T. Jones, Jake on the long-running hit CBS sitcom 'Two and a Half Men,' won't be returning as a full time cast member for the 11th season.

In November 2012 Angus burned a few bridges when his YouTube "filth" confessional went viral.  Among other things, he begged viewers to stop warping their brains by watching the show.

To his credit, he later apologized "for showing indifference and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed."

CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler acknowledged, "The kid is 19 years old. I've got a 24-year-old. Between the ages of 19 and 24, there's been plenty of things my kid has said that I wish he hadn't. The bottom line is that cooler heads prevailed."

The 19-year-old in question has since decided that he wants to focus on his music career.

During the upcoming season Jones will infrequently join co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer, who have both signed one-year contracts.

Despite the fact that Kutcher was brought on as the lead actor to replace Charlie Sheen, he has been seriously upstaged by Cryer--who took home a Primetime Emmy in 2012 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

That said, we'd love to know what the network is paying Cryer versus Kutcher for season 11.

hilary duff two and a half men

Actress Hilary Duff will be returning to television this spring as a love interest of Ashton Kutcher's character Walden on the 'Two and a Half Men' season finale.

The report, posted by TVLine, indicates that Duff, as Stacey, will catch Walden's eye during the last episode of the current cycle.

Word is that she won't keep his attention for long, as Walden ends up falling for her grandmother -- played by 'Celebrity Apprentice' star Marilu Henner, 60.

The whole cougar thing for Kutcher seems fitting.  He is currently going through a real life divorce with actress Demi Moore, who happens to be fifteen years older than her estranged husband.

Duff tweeted her excitement yesterday, giving a shout-out to Marilu.

Hillary wed retired NHL player Mike Comrie in 2010 and is in terrific shape after giving birth to their son Luca last March.

She told US Weekly, "My trainer helped me lose a sh-t ton of weight. I lost like 30 pounds. His name is Gabe Johns and he is amazing. He's a boxing trainer and he comes to my house. I live in the Canyon, so we just run. He runs my ass up and down the hill."

cbs ceo les moonves jokes about angus

CBS President and CEO Leslie Moonves discussed the recent controversial comments made by 'Two and a Half Men' teen star Angus T. Jones Monday and it sounds like he plans to let the matter of teen angst slide ... for now.

During an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the network CEO referred to the incident as "a piece of cake" compared to the Charlie Sheen meltdown.

He said, "I don't know what our status is with him.  We took this boy who started with us when he was 8 years old, and it seems to be what happens to child stars over the course of time.  He went on a religious channel and urged people not to watch the show because it was filth.  By the way, he's still collecting $300,000 a week."

Will he be fired?  The head of CBS hinted, "We have other plans.  I don't think it's quite been resolved."

Sounds like the writers will be crafting an exit storyline for Jake Harper.

charlie sheen and angus t jones

In the wake of the controversial religion-inspired YouTube testimony of 'Two and a Half Men' teen actor Angus T. Jones, his former co-star Charlie Sheen has decided to weigh in.

Sheen was fired from the hit television show in 2011 and immediately embarked on a YouTube "rant" journey, inviting the world to view his decidedly public meltdown that suggested serious mental illness.

On the subject of Jones, the 'Anger Management' star told E! News, "With Angus's Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed."

Sheen suggested to TMZ that show creator Chuck Lorre is to blame,  "Obviously, not having been there for some time, the Angus T. Jones that I knew and still love is not the same guy I saw on YouTube yesterday.  I dare anyone to spend ten years in the laugh-track that is Chuck Lorre's hive of oppression and not suffer some form of an emotional tsunami."

Angus T. Jones has since begun the process of damage control with this statement.  Let the healing begin...

Angus T. Jones, 19,  caused quite a stir after two YouTube videos were released featuring the young actor bashing his bread and butter, "Two and a Half Men."

With thirteen years in show business and currently earning $350,000 per episode, the teenager gave a testimonial to Christopher Hudson of ForeRunner Chronicles, a Seventh-Day Adventist ministry.  The website creator promptly uploaded the edited footage to YouTube.

So far part-two of the Angus testimony, posted by TheForerunner777, has received nearly two million hits as people witness the young actor as he tries to convince fans of 'Two and a Half Men" to stop watching the show because it is "filth."

Jones has since begun the process of damage control--issuing this statement to Deadline - released by Insignia PR:

"I have been the subject of much discussion, speculation and commentary over the past 24 hours. While I cannot address everything that has been said or right every misstatement or misunderstanding, there is one thing I want to make clear.

Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked over the past ten years and who have become an extension of my family.

Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date.  I thank them for the opportunity they have given and continue to give me and the help and guidance I have and expect to continue to receive from them.

I also want all of the crew and cast on our show to know how much I personally care for them and appreciate their support, guidance and love over the years.  I grew up around them and know that the time they spent with me was in many instances more than with their own families.  I learned life lessons from so many of them and will never forget how much positive impact they have had on my life.

I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed.  I never intended that."

Chuck Lorre referenced the incident on one of his famous vanity cards at the end of 'Mike and Molly.'  While his style can be harsh, in this case his comments were thought provoking and non-judgmental.

jake called men filth

Angus T. Jones, the teenager who has played Jake on 'Two and a Half Men' for the past ten seasons, recorded a religion-inspired testimony that trashes the popular CBS sitcom.

The actor recorded a two-part video chronicling his childhood, the television series and the fact that his life started to deteriorate during his junior and senior year in high school when he smoked weed and did acid.

He gravitated to religion in January 2012 and church shopped until he felt the fit was right with the 7th Day Adventists, a protestant Christian denomination that observes Saturday as the Sabbath.

The teen actor was conflicted about signing on for another season of 'Men' but finally caved and began filming new episodes that have him arriving home from Army basic training, with a girlfriend thrown into his character's new storyline, played by Miley Cyrus.

Jones recently contacted a controversial SDA man who is known on YouTube as TheForerunner777.  Angus was hoping to talk to the guy on the phone and ask a few questions but their initial contact turned into a 30 minute video "testimony" that will likely be the end of his long running career on 'Men' that began in 2003 and earns him $350,000 per episode.

He said, "I'm on Two and a Half Men and I don't want to be on it.  Please stop watching it.  Please stop filling your heads with filth."

"People say it's just entertainment.  Do some research on the effects of television on your brain and I promise you, you'll have a decision to make when it comes to what you watch on television.  It's bad news."

"There's no playing around when it comes to eternity.  You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that.  I know I can't."

He would like to be rid of his celebrity status and become a "soul-ebrity."

Check out the recording below.  Move the slider to 7:10 to hear the 'Men' trashing:

miley guests on men as missi

We certainly didn't expect to see Ashton Kutcher and Miley Cyrus in bed together ... ever.

That unlikely scenario played out while they were filming an upcoming episode of 'Two and a Half Men.'

The former Hannah Montana star is cast as the daughter of Walter's friend.  She arrives for a short visit and hooks up with Angus T. Jones' character Jake when he returns from Army basic training.

Cyrus, as Missi, will appear in a series of episodes with her first guest spot airing October 17, 2012.

Check out the bedroom pic and images of Jake and Missi below:

jon cryer gets lead actor in a comedy nod

The nominees for the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced this morning and we have to say we saw this one coming ... Jon Cryer received a nod for Outstanding 'Lead' Actor in a Comedy Series.

Heads up CBS and 'Two and a Half Men,' it appears you are paying the big bucks to the wrong guy.

If we can glean anything from this turn of events, it is the revelation that Ashton Kutcher has failed to carry the ball that the network passed to him after wrestling it away from Charlie Sheen.

Cryer has come a long way, having received the nomination for Best 'Supporting' Comedy Actor last year.  Kudos!

We can't wait to hear what Sheen has to say on the subject ...

Check out who else got nominated for Lead Actor in Comedy category:
